The Value of a Nap!

This spring it was my joy to accompany about 20 other bluegrass pickers at the annual Wildflower Festival held up by beautiful Lake Shasta every spring.  After a good breakfast about mid-morning it is advisable to get a little rest so one can keep up with the younger kids around the campfire the next night.  My new friend Jim Langell, owner of Lucca Ravoli Company in San Francisco had a great time carving up log benches with his chainsaw.  So, who am I to turn down a solid nap on a freshly sawed log? Seriously, the secret to killer vocals are well rested pipes!  Oh and… never miss a meal!  No problem there!  Good times my friends…. good times!
